For those flying from points inside the United States, we recommend flying to Reno-Taho Airport (RNO). You can rent a car at the airport and drive south 60 miles to the start (approximately 90 minutes).
For those flying from outside the United States, you can either fly to Reno-Tahoe after first flying into and clearing customs at another major airport in the US or you can fly direct to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and rent a car there. The drive from SFO to the start is a scenic 213 miles and will take approximately 5 hours.
