Description: Our annual camping and riding weekend at Lake Davis and Gold Lakes Loop Ride. AACC Board has authorized payment for the group campsite at Grasshopper Flat. Parking for 5 vehicles and accomodating 25 campers. However, all campsites are first come first serve after September 6. For something new, I want to start at the L.T. Davis rest area at 9:30, turn on Rocky Point Road, take the bike path along the river through Portola, Portola McLears Road to Highway 89, Gold Lake Highway, Highway 49, Westside Road back to 70. Feel free to do the loop from Graeagle, or from the campsite, if you enjoy the final climb up Lake Davis Rd. MTB/gravel ride around Lake Davis on Sunday.
